Valhalla’s new Assassin’s Creed Patch includes adaptive trigger support for PS5

Assassins Creed Valhalla PS5 Adaptive Triggers

The latest Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update, patch 1.010, includes a hidden feature on PS5. Ubisoft has added support for DualSense driver adaptive triggers, which come into play when using the Eivor bow.

Basically, it’s what was expected. R2 tightens when Eivor pulls the rope back and has a noticeable point of resistance. It also feels different depending on the type of bow you use: hunter, light, or predator. Light bows, for example, fire extremely easily compared to the longer throw of a hunter bow, depending on the pressure you need to apply to the trigger.

It’s a little cool, but it’s not exactly awesome, and at first it feels a little weird. Still, it’s nice to see the developer add some support for Sony’s shiny new blog.
