Vanessa Bryant is sued by her own mother and she responds

Kobe’s widow Bryant claims she tried to fix things with her mother on several occasions.

He also alleges that it is false that he has moved away from his daughters following the basketball player’s death, as he has only done so to go to the cemetery or fix some slopes.

In her paper, Vanessa also recalls the interview Sofia gave to Univision, “in which she despised our family and made false accusations.” Still, Vanessa says, he was willing to support her by giving her a monthly stipend for the rest of her life.

“She, on the other hand, contacted me through an intermediary and demanded 5 million (dollars), a house and a Mercedes van.

“Since I did not yield to his hurtful threats and monetary demands, he has gotten out of control and is making false and absurd claims. He is now trying to get more money than my husband and I spent to maintain- She doesn’t realize how it affects our daughters and me.

Finally, Vanessa says bluntly that the lawsuit against her “is frivolous, embarrassing and unimaginably hurtful. My husband never promised anything to my mother and would be very disappointed with her behavior and lack of empathy.”
