On Sunday Drew Lock’s about the best journey of his career, it’s one thing for Denver Francois head coach Vic Fangio.
OK; few …
“We were very talented. 21-22 was much better than we were doing. We hit some big plays, threw some touchdown passes. It was great to see, we spread the ball around,” the Denver Panthers won 32-27. Then Fangio said. ”It was nice to see [WR] K.J. [Hamler] Come up with some great plays. We hope he can add it to our guilt. [WR] Jerry [Jeudy] Was 31-yard, [WR] Tim [Patrick] Was 32-yard. The big plays were huge, and were able to run enough to run the ball – 27kg some bigger than making the first drops. It was a good game until we hit that length especially where we could not slow them down in the passing game, but we were late with four and responded at there by the end of the game. ”

The former Broncos’ Jekyll-and-Hyde signal-caller in Carolina threw 27-for-27 (77.7%) individual-high four-touchdowns at a regular 210 for 280 yards. He finished with a stellar 149.5 QB rating, which is not far from the NFL’s correct mark (158.3).
His two DT tosses went to Rookie White receiver KJ Hamler, who led the team with 86 receiving yards. His post-score was particularly impressive as the offensive action (rare) worked in perfect harmony.
Attack Pat Sharmur, to extend the Broncos’ lead when it appears that the Panthers may come back, rightly calls for aggressive drama – first-down, no less. Hamler dusted his man on a itinerary and entered inside. Lock Hammer was identified in single coverage and placed where the second-round pick could get it.
Six.
“I loved it, I loved it, it’s a wonderful call,” Lock said after the game. “They expect the flow, they look zero in a way, and in my head I think, ‘Well, I’m going to take each one.’ And then they put it out late, so again like I said, I’m reading [WR] Jerry [Jeudy] I would throw up if security was reduced for him. It was the perfect look for us right there. Coach Sharmur’s excellent call and great execution by the guys who blocked it. They were obviously under pressure. KJ’s great job to complete it. “
For the first time since Week 2, the Broncos won with the strength of Lock’s right hand. His offense totaled 365 yards, converting two red-zone chances in two, and surrendered to only one excuse despite missing starting skills. Garrett Poles (disease) and Demer Dodson (unpublished).
Most importantly, there is no hero Paul from the 24-year-old polyhout, who finds that being rooted in wanting to win a particular issue is “very badly you can do certain things.” Charlotte may have found its solution.
“It’s about being calm and focused on those games,” Lock said. “It’s only when you make the right decisions that I’ve been preaching here for the last two weeks.”
