Vice President Kamala Harris will get in the way of the campaign next week alongside California Gov. Gavin Newsom, who clashed just days before the Sept. 14 deadline for the mail-out election. electronic that could snatch the Democrat from power in Sacramento.

The veep’s visit to the San Francisco Bay Area, confirmed Saturday by Harris spokeswoman Symone Sanders is a replacement for a rally that Harris was forced to cancel following last week’s horrific terrorist attack on U.S. troops at Kabul airport.

The halt of the campaign points to Democrats ’continued concern about Newsom’s chances, despite Golden State Gold’s intense blue electorate.

California Democrats outnumber Republicans nearly two to one, but voter reaction to the governor’s pandemic restrictions has been growing.
