Vicente Fernández responds to accusations: “I didn’t do it on purpose”

After a few days of silence over the charges against him, Vicente Fernández at the end he talked about the photographs that went viral, where “El Charro d’Huentitán” appears touching a woman’s breast.

I admit I did wrong

In an interview with journalist Mara Patricia Castañeda, Vicente said that he first he put his hand on his stomach and, so as not to “offend,” raised it and that was when they took the picture.

“I admit I did wrong,” the singer lamented. “I offer an apology, wholeheartedly, but I didn’t do it on purpose, if I had done it I wouldn’t do it there.”

Mr. Vicente Fernández explained that many people attended these events and everything happened very fast, So he doesn’t remember how it happened.

On the other accusations of the women who claim to have lived a similar moment with Vicente, the singer stated that he does not even remember who they were and insisted on offering his apology. However, clarified that it was not harassment.

“Harassment is that I took her to a stable and forcibly took off her blouse. That was harassment. What happened was an accident,” Fernandez said.

Last January 20, a video of the user “trplexxx” circulated on social media where Vicente is seen touching the breast of a teenage fan while taking a photograph; later a couple of supposed photographs with the same action came to light.

This caused netizens to criticize “El Charro de Huentitán” and accuse him of harassment and exploitation.

“Trplexxx” said in “First Hand” that he hadn’t noticed when the singer touched his chest by that time; however, he claimed to feel raped and angry.

“I don’t care if it’s Vicente Fernández, he shouldn’t have touched my body without my permission especially in this area. I’m sure many women have experienced this kind of action,” she concluded.
