Claressa Shields defeated Canadian Marie-Eve Dicaire by unanimous decision and became the first boxer in the era of the four belts (since 2004), male or female, to be the undisputed champion in two divisions.

Shields retained his junior WBC and WBO junior middleweight titles while claiming Dicaire’s FIB crown and the vacant AMB world title.

The fight took place in his hometown of Flint, Michigan (USA). The three judges scored 100-90 for the American fighter who calls herself the best of all time. Shields connected 116 of 409 hits, and Dicaire connected 31 of 263. Shields connected hits in seven of the 10 rounds.

“I did,” Shields said after the fight. It was the first time in 20 years that a women’s boxing bout was the main event of a PPV.

Shields will make his MMA debut in June with the Professional Fighters League against an opponent yet to be determined.
