
When The Pokémon Company announced remakes of Nintendo DS titles Diamond and pearl earlier this week, the most notable difference was obviously the artistic style.
Now, all the sprite work from the original games has been replaced by some nice 3D graphics Shiny diamond and shiny pearl. Obviously, there has been a lot of discussion about this since then, and we even did a poll yesterday to see what everyone thought of it.
Today we present a parallel comparison of the games of 2006 with those of 2021 Switch, courtesy of GameXplain. This clip includes a look at normal playback speed, followed by a slow playback.
As you can see, there are some things that don’t even appear in the original games, which are completely new (such as a Nintendo Switch in the main character’s bedroom, instead of a Wii) and there are some things that seemingly confirm It will show the content of the Platinum version.
