(VIDEO) Loor Tired: LigaPro’s Response to Another Threat of Arbitral Unemployment

Miguel Ángel Loor, President of the LigaPro, appeared this afternoon in an official video where he pointed out that they no longer tolerate the threats of paralysis by the refereeing guild.

In this video, Loor explained that they have always been concerned about judges to the point of trying to meet all their commitments despite the global crisis.

“They are better paid than the clubs in terms of percentages and months (…) We expect an understanding from them, which has not been possible,” said Loor.

“We have asked the chairman of the Arbitration Commission to appoint the arbitrators have not signed this letter. If the referees’ idea is not to whistle, then we can’t give in, “added the LigaPro president.

“Ecuador’s referees are the second highest paid on the continent behind Argentina and Brazil.”
