The alleged victim called authorities claiming the driver had escaped the scene after being run over; however, authorities discovered the farce.
He put together a whole scene to incriminate a driver for running over his Tesla, but he didn’t have a small detail. Louisiana authorities were alerted by an emergency call where a man claimed to have been hit by a driver at a busy gas station and that the alleged culprit had escaped the scene unresponsive to the damage.
Last Friday, Sept. 3, Slidell police rushed to the aid of Arthur Bates Jr. Whoever called to report the incident, authorities rushed to the scene accompanied by paramedics to attend to the alleged victim, but were met with a big surprise.

Bats told officers that the Tesla had retreated toward him, which caused him to fall to the pavement leaving him injured and the driver had fled immediately. Bates was constantly complaining of alleged injuries to his back, legs and neck, so they called for an ambulance and even a fire truck arrived on the scene.
Shortly afterwards, the authorities identified the driver of the act and after interrogating him that Bats had intentionally jumped against the interlocutory while he was not on the move, Bates did not have the recordings that the interlocutor made and where you see how the alleged victim was walking at a distance of several meters from the car, just when the driver turns on the interlocutor you see how Bates stands next to the car and then throws himself to the ground to show that they had beaten him.

The recordings show the driver getting off and exchanging a few words while Bates is still on the ground and then going in the opposite direction.
With all the evidence Bates had to admit that he had fabricated the scene and was arrested by the authorities for perjury.
