Bolivian authorities point out that the causes of the accident were mechanical failures. Two pilots in practice flight survived.
A Bolivian Air Force plane crashed this Wednesday in a residential area in the municipality of Treia, Cochabamba, leaving at least one dead and several injured, according to local media reports.
Preliminary information indicates that the wrecked aircraft is a Jet K-8 and crashed into a house. The deceased is a resident of the dwelling. Another person who was at the scene was injured.
The impact was captured on video, this shows a column of smoke in the community area. In another clip published by RT the villagers are seen trying to help those affected.
On the occupants of the plane, authorities have reported that two pilots were on board and managed to catapult themselves in time. They performed a flight practice.

After the impact an explosion was heard said witness. Neighbors in the area approached the site to try to put out the flames that consumed the home in its entirety.

Colonel Jhonny Corrales, Cochabamba Police Department Commander, told the media that the two pilots are stable, one under medical observation in the city of Cochabamba, and another is being questioned about the accident.

At the scene of the accident are aeronautical technicians from the FAB, municipal guards of Treia, firefighters and police to monitor and determine the causes of the accident.
