Viral: Capture luminous objects in the sky in Oregon, USA

Several videos have been circulating on social media since Thursday night in which they can be seen a series of luminous objects over the sky of Oregon, United States.

It has not been confirmed what exactly these luminous objects are, however, the National Weather Service in Seattle indicated that it could be the remains of the rocket Falcon 9 de SpaceX.

” While we await further confirmation of the details, here is the unofficial information we have so far. The bright objects widely reported in the sky were the ruins of a second stage of the Falcon 9 rocket who did not get a burn of desorbitation”.

In a second message on his Twitter account, he continues: ” According to the video observed, this seems more likely than a meteorite, fireball or similar object, as they would move much faster when impacted with our atmosphere. There are no expected impacts on the ground in our counties at this time. More information will be published as it becomes available ”.
