At 10:24 a.m. EST (1524 GMT; 8:24 a.m. local New Mexico time) VMS Eve raised the bar under the wings of its White Night Carrier aircraft. Eve dropped Unity on schedule at an altitude of about 50,000 feet (15,000 meters) .Unity then had to shoot its inner rocket motor and head to the suburbs. But that did not happen; Sturkov (former NASA space shuttle commander) and McKay brought the spacecraft back to Earth as Spaceport touched down safely in the United States at 11:45 a.m. EST (1645 GMT). The motor is incomplete. The vehicle and crew are in excellent condition. Spaceport We have many motors ready in the United States.
