A Russian college student who was rejected by the media as President Vladimir Putin’s “secret daughter” says she loves “prominence” after being named her alleged love son.
Luiza Rozova, also known as Elizaveta Krivonogikh, spoke about her recent status on the social networking platform Clubhouse.
BBC journalist Andrey Zakharov, who broke the story about the 17-year-old from Russian magazine Proekt.Media, asked if she was Putin’s daughter, but ignored the question, according to The Sun.
“Did I cause you bad trauma from my research?” Then Zakharov asked the teenager.
“It simply came to our notice then. My life was so stagnant, I am so grateful for the opportunity to be in the center of the light, that people heard about my account, ”Rozova replied, referring to her Instagram account, which went gaining 96,400 followers after she reported that she was Putin’s daughter.
“I don’t try and I should never become popular,” the teenager added. “I really feel good, don’t worry about me. My life goes on and everything is going well ”.
It has been rumored that Rozova’s mother, Svetlana Krivonogikh, 45, was Putin’s lover in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Krivonogikh has not addressed the claims.
Following the news of the alleged love affair, Putin’s spokesman said the allegations “were not very convincing,” The Sun reported.
