Around 8:30 a.m., police say the suspect fired a shot inside a Walmart on Glenolden’s MacDade Boulevard.
Police confirm the suspect shot at an employee but failed. The incident may have been due to a video game. No one was injured.
On Sunday afternoon, SWAT and several dozen officers lodged a house on the 400 block of Main Street in Darby district where the suspect allegedly lives. According to investigators, police used the suspect’s phone to locate him as far as Darby.
The Action Cam showed officers with their weapons aimed at a building and several police officers on foot covering the streets.
For hours, officers tried to get the suspect out of the house, but police believe the suspect fled before arriving.
Residents in the area were allowed to return to their homes around 4 p.m.
Police say the suspect may be armed and dangerous. He has not been identified at this time.
