A new aspect of Call of Duty: Warzone has been discovered by a player. The only problem is that it is a feature that has no purpose in the grand scheme of multiplayer play.
In a new video from the TrueGameData YouTube channel, it was verified that Call of Duty: Warzone it’s a slightly different experience in private lobbies compared to public ones. What this specifically means is that the way damage is done to enemies varies a bit. For the most part, the differences aren’t huge, but it’s still rare to see inconsistencies appear between the two game modes.
Based on TrueGameData’s own research, these variations in the number of damage also depend on the weapon you use and how far away you are from what you do. For example, the MP5 in both public and private lobbies has the same damage result of up to 52 meters or more from enemies. At this point, weapon damage in private matches is, for some reason, superior to what would be found in a public game. Some of the other weapons that are said to be so also include the P90 and Striker 45.
It’s worth noting that TrueGameData’s own video acknowledges that this information could be flawed, but they also did thorough testing to verify that what is being said is real. There’s also the possibility that Infinity Ward doesn’t even know it’s currently a problem, and if you become aware of it, perhaps an upcoming patch can balance it out. War zone in all lobby types.
Until then, Call of Duty: Warzone it can currently be played on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. If you want to keep up with our game coverage, you can do so by following our page here.
