Russian President Vladimir Putin speaks at the Davos Agenda, a virtual event organized by the World Economic Forum.
It comes amid calls from the international community for the arrest of opposition leader Alexei Navalny. The protests took place all over Russia on Saturday and mainly supported Navalny, a prominent anti-corruption activist and critic of Putin.
Navalny was arrested on January 17 immediately after returning to Russia from Germany, where he had been treated after nerve agent poisoning last August. Putin was accused of being behind the poisoning; the Kremlin denies any involvement.
