COUNT OF WAYNE, Mich. – Wayne County Department of Health adds two new COVID-19 vaccination clinics, one in Belleville and one in Flat Rock.
This expansion will increase the county’s weekly capacity to up to 20,000 doses administered among a total of four vaccine clinics.
To make the vaccine available to Wayne County vacancies and workers, all county locations will accept residents and workers aged 16 and over from all communities in the region.
Walks are welcome without prior appointment during regular clinic hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., which the county announced Saturday.
Residents and workers can still schedule a vaccination appointment with the Wayne County Department of Health by calling 866-610-3885.
Detroit City residents should call 313-230-0505 to schedule an appointment through the Detroit Department of Health. All places in the county will offer the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, depending on current supplies and shipments.

“Our goal is to get as many shots in the arms as quickly as we can and make it easier for our residents,” said Warren C. Evans, Wayne County executive. “We have a vaccine. We have four regional clinics. Now is the time for everyone to get vaccinated. The safest way to put this pandemic behind us is to get vaccinated as soon as possible. “
The Belleville Clinic will open Monday, April 19 at the Ted Scott Campus of the Wayne-Ted Scott County Community Center. The building is located at 9555 Haggerty Road in Belleville. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The Flat Rock Clinic will also open Monday and will be located at the Flat Rock Community Center. The building is located at 1 Maguire Street in Flat Rock. The Flat Rock Clinic will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
In addition to the two new clinics, the Wayne County Department of Public Health welcomes appointments at the Taylor Clinic from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday. This clinic is located on Wayne County Community College – Downriver Campus. It is located at 21000 Northline Road in Taylor.
