Wayne’s world stars bounce Cardi B and his “shameless celebrity cameo” in the Uber Eats Super Bowl ad

Mike Myers and Dana Carvey take a walk down the lane of memory as they return to the skin of their iconic Wayne’s World characters in a new Super Bowl ad.

In a “cameo of shameless celebrities,” Cardi B injects his infectious personality alongside Wayne and Garth as they seek to encourage viewers to eat local in support of restaurants fighting during the COVID-19 pandemic.

He former stars of Saturday Night Live now they open up about their reunion as they sprang up over the Bodak Yellow rapper.

True to the shape of the famous SNL drawing and two feature films, the one-minute ad opens with the themed song and is followed by instructions from the local food duo.

“As a local access program we want everyone to support local restaurants, but we’ll never manipulate you the way all the other ads do,” they announce.

The ad then goes on to interpret the “local food” manipulation angle, including wind-blown glamor traits and hosts holding mini-me babies, as they state that they never shamelessly trust a celebrity cameo. ”, As Cardi makes his appearance.

“Yeah, eat local,” she says with a typical Cardi attitude and intonation, before the trio make a gesture with the popular TikTok costume change cut and change wardrobe with each other.

Elaborating on the decision to partner with SNL and Uber Eats alumni, the producer told People: “You all know I love food and right now we need to support our local restaurants, such as The Griddle Cafe in Los Angeles. the places are struggling right now and it’s up to us to eat locally. That’s why I partnered with Uber Eats and my guys Wayne and Garth to help. ‘
