“We are going to adjust the screws,” says the Secretary of Health on measures at the airport

The Secretary of the Department of Health (DS), Carlos Mellado López, said in an interview with WKAQ 580am that they will “adjust the screws” at the airport Luis Muñoz Marín, Green Island, given the rise in coronavirus, COVID-19 on the island.

“We are going to adjust the screws. Today we will sign an order to restrict entry. And ensure, everyone who enters Puerto Rico has a negative PCR (antigen test),” the doctor argued.

He was concerned about the numbers of cases and deaths from this disease.

“There is hospital capacity, but it is certainly worrying. We are also still seeing the aftermath of the past few weeks,” he added.
