What Rutgers coach Steve Pikiell said about the Ohio state postgame

The Ohio State basketball team used a great second half to finish the No. 11 Rutgers after completely outscoring themselves in the first half. It was a physical game that the Buckeyes were able to control due to some painting facts for the Scarlet Knights.

OSU was able to get to the free throw line and get a high percentage of baskets to roll things up, take the lead, and finally take control and win comfortably in the end.

Rutgers head coach Steve Pikiell met with the media afterwards to talk about his team and the challenge that the state of Ohio offered. If you’ve missed any of their comments, we’ve got them for you thanks to Rutgers Football’s YouTube channel.

Watch the following and hear how the Rutgers boss gives a lot of credit to Ohio State, talk about the physicality of the game, the respect he has for Chris Holtmann and more.

Ohio State’s next game will be Saturday against Northwestern on the road.
