Most of us rely on our smartphones to wake up in the morning. Unless the battery really sucks, we don’t come across one Sun at home situation frequently. But when the alarm is unreliable and you have somewhere important to be, you have a big problem. ithat iThis is what happens with the Android Clock app, as a new bug breaks the alarm function that many of us use every day.
There are lots of reports of unhappy (but presumably well-asleep) Android watch users lamenting that alarms are not triggered. The application page in the Play Store is flooded with one-star comments, i a Reddit thread shows the wide variety of confused, frustrated, and answer-seeking Android users. While the Pixel line is one of the hardest hit, users of other devices like OnePlus and Oppo, they have also complained.
Those who have experienced the alarm error say the alarm will start vibrating, but will stop immediately. One Redditor says that after testing the device, the alarm would sound five out of six times. Essentially, they play Russian roulette with their alarm clock; who wants to take these odds?
Is there a solution to the Android alarm clock error?
The bad news is, unfortunately, not; there does not appear to be any fix for the application at this time. Users have stated that typical troubleshooting tactics for applications with issues such as clearing the cache or uninstalling and reinstalling the application have no effect on the error. It’s easy to imagine that Google is working – alas – all day to send a patch for the disastrous application error. If you have oneAutomatic update applications are enabled, the patch should be installed once it is enabled available. To manually check for a new update, go to in the Play Store and search for Clock (you touched it here). Touch Google LLC; if you see “Update” as an option, touch it. In fact, there are so many options that you will probably be able to pick one at random, download it and wake up tomorrow very good morning. But if you’re looking for recommendations, we have a couple that you might like.
If you are looking for something different, we recommend that you consider the sleep cycle. That the free app really keeps track of your sleep patterns to determine in which sleep cycle it can be found at a given point. This information is needed at to prove to wake you up when you are at the lightest point of the cycle. By default, set up a 30-minute window where you’ll be well awake; if you need to be awake before 6:30, Sleep Cycle will wake you up anywhere between 6:00 and 6:30, as long as you think you’ll have the easiest time.
If you have one really difficult to wake up, could be considered Alarm clock for heavy bedrooms. As its name suggests, the app is designed for people who usually sleep or accidentally turn off alarms. This is because it allows you to define “challenges” that require you to complete a task before turning off the alarm. The list goes on, this could be a Captcha task, a math problem, a light challenge. You may want to experiment with different challenges to find the best one it forces you to wake up.

Take a photo, shake your phone, or choose a certain number of math problems to complete before you can turn it off. And you’ll want to turn it off because It gets alarming fort.
