A recent study has found that in a few years the level of oxygen on earth will be so low that our planet will no longer be habitable for mammals and for any higher life form, only the life of anaerobics and microbes can be developed.
This study was performed per Kazumi Ozaki of Toho University, In Funabashi, Japan, in collaboration with Chris Reinhard of the Georgia Institute of Technology, In Atlanta, United States determined that our planet will reach such low levels of oxygenation that will only allow the life of the arches.

According to scientists, this phenomenon will happen before the climate becomes “humid” due to the greenhouse effect and before the planet loses most of the water that covers it, so the earth will run out of oxygen before it runs out of water.
But when will this happen? According to the projections of young people, the oxygen levels of the earth will drop so much that they will prevent life from being possible. in about a billion more yearsBut time can vary depending on human behavior and care for the environment.

Why will oxygen run out?
According to the experiment conducted by scientists, the sun it will continue to age and with that it will continue to heat up more and more to the point where it is impossible for them to live on the plantsWithout them, oxygen production will stop working and then life on Earth will become unsustainable.
To reach these conclusions the men who were part of a project of the NASA about habitability on the planets, They used a model of climate, biological and geological systems that allowed them to make a projection of how climate conditions will change on our planet.

With this study it was determined that the presence of oxygen, Which makes a habitable planet, it is variable and not always constant, So that even if some planet came to present ideal conditions for life or presents them in the future, it does not mean that it is a permanent condition.
This arises amid speculation that the planet has at some point Mars could harbor water, What is said, could create favorable conditions for housing life, but so far there is no conclusive evidence that at any time there were living things on the Red Planet.
But with this new study the possibility has reopened that at some point the ideal conditions that no longer exist on Mars were given so that the planet could have hosted life, for now we will have to wait and see how scientific studies progress to confirm or rule out the theory.
