A recent White House Coronavirus task force report named Florida a “red zone.”
The Nonprofit Center for Public Integrity released a December 6 report stating that “there has been an increase in stability in new cases, test positive and increased hospitalization and mortality in Florida.”
As part of the increased precaution, the government is beginning to warn residents against any meetings during the December holidays, the report said.

The report recommends aggression testing “with public masks at all times”.
“Despite the severity of the uprising and the threat to hospital systems, many state and local governments have not implemented the same mitigation policies to prevent the summer outbreak,” the report said. “It has to happen now.”

The report noted that European countries had seen positive results from “strong public and private mitigation”, although schools remained open in those cases.
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel recently filed a lawsuit against the Orlando Sentinel government for “failing to provide timely reports to the weekly White House Corona virus task force.”
The documents allege that Desantis’ office did not provide any working group reports for November.
