Anastasia Amoroso, head of thematic strategy at JP Morgan Private Bank, joins the latest podcast “What Goes Up” to discuss emerging investment issues, including the deployment of leverage in credit market investments. He also talks about the prospects for green energy and other key issues his team advises.

Some highlights of the conversation:

“The reason we’re holding this discussion today is because it’s really been a phenomenal year for fixed income and yields have plummeted, which is not so phenomenal. But it’s led to phenomenal returns for investors. But with yields really at these very, very low levels across the curves and the credit spectrum, investors are looking for yield opportunities. And one of the ways to increase yield is, of course, to deploy some leverage. .. The reason we believe this is a timely environment to do so is because, from an economic standpoint, I think we will be in a more stable place in 2021. Therefore, we should not worry about the events of credit “.

Mentioned in this podcast:
2020 has been a great year for stocks and a bear market for humans
