Willow Smith gets a restraining order against a man who allegedly traveled from Oklahoma to Los Angeles to chase the star
- The 20-year-old star received a restraining order against Walter James Whaley, 39, earlier this month.
- It must now crash 100 feet away and cease any attempt at communication
- Legal documents say he entered Smith’s property last December, but was unable to enter the house
- He called police but did not immediately arrest Whaley
- A Greyhound ticket showing him traveling from Oklahoma the day before was found when authorities searched Whaley
- Smith claims Whaley had also been in contact with her through social media
- According to the statements, a private investigator also determined that Whaley is a convicted sex offender
Willow Smith obtained a restricted order against an obsessed fan earlier this month.
The 20-year-old singer / actress says she is being chased by Walter James Whaley, 38, who traveled from Oklahoma to Los Angeles, California to attack her, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ.
Now he must always be 100 meters away from her and stop trying to communicate with her.

Smith’s statements say Whaley was able to get to his California property around Christmas, but did not find his way inside the house.
His personal security called police about the offender and, although they responded quickly, he was not arrested.
The document goes on to say that police found a Greyhound bus ticket to Whaley that showed he had traveled from Oklahoma the day before.
Security cameras were able to capture the defendants sneaking through the property.
Willow, who is the daughter of actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, said she was concerned about her safety in legal documents, saying she fears Whaley will “do everything possible to make physical contact with me.”

Before physically getting Smith, documents say Whaley had been in contact with Willow on social media, professing his love and even saying he wants to have children with her.
The star also says he hired a private investigator who was able to find out Whaley was a convicted sex offender.
After debuting as an actor in his father’s film I am Legend at just seven years old, Willow Moment became his 2010 Whip My Hair track, which he released at just ten years old.
He is now at the center of the daytime Emmy-nominated interview series, Red Table Talk, along with mother Jada and grandmother Adrienne Banfield-Norris.
