DETROIT – The snow has been moving southeast of Michigan since two o’clock on Tuesday morning and we will have periods of snow during the day.
More consistent snow will fall north of 8 Mile Road, with less additional snow during the day in the south. In fact, parts of Lenawee and Monroe counties were even able to see some freezing showers.
Overall, it looks like most of Lenawee and Monroe counties will see less than an inch of snow, I-94 on M-59 / Hall Road probably about two inches and north of the M-59 probably between three and four inches, as it will receive the longest snow.
Like yesterday, I have included my forecast of specific amounts of snow in your area in the 4ZONE forecast, which you can easily see at ClickOnDetroit.com and our FREE LocalTA Local4Casters weather app.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather warning until 4pm on Tuesday for areas generally south of the M-59 and until 11pm for areas generally north of the M-59.
Today temperatures will only rise a couple of degrees, perhaps to almost freezing (0 degrees Celsius), with a northeast wind that will move north between 10 and 15 mph.
Today’s sunrise is at 7:52 a.m. and today’s sunset at 5:40 p.m.
Snow decreases Tuesday night, with lows to lows in the mid-20s (-5 degrees Celsius).
Mostly cloudy on Wednesday, with highs in the top 20 (-2 to -1 degrees Celsius). It is partly cloudy and much colder on Wednesday night, with lows in adolescence low to medium (-11 degrees Celsius).
Thursday and Friday partly cloudy, with highs in the mid-20s (-4 degrees Celsius), and Thursday night lows again in the middle (-11 degrees Celsius).
There are some changes that computer models offer in terms of handling our next storm, and the biggest change is slowing it down. Now I think on Saturday we will be dry, with increasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs in the upper twenty (-2 to -1 degrees Celsius).
On Sunday it is cloudy, with snow maybe in the afternoon. Highs in the 30s (0 degrees Celsius).
