Revenge is a dish that is served very cold and this was enjoyed on Tuesday Wolverhampton a la Premier League against the Arsenal, Team against which Raúl Jiménez suffered a horrible skull fracture in late November that keeps him away from the courts and, interestingly, defender David Luiz was also the protagonist of “the bad” that day.
Luiz was the one who fractured Jiménez on November 29 with a head-on collision and this Tuesday he left expelled minutes before half time to provoke a penalty that resulted in the partial draw of the Wolves, who eventually won 2-1 with goals from Ruben Neves from eleven steps and a huge shot from Joao Moutinho.
But David Luiz’s was not the only expulsion for the Gunners, as even the goalkeeper, Bernd Leno, went to the watering cans in ’72 for a childish mistake in miscalculating a ball and getting your hand out of the area.
That was just the Wolverhampton’s seventh win in 22 Premier League games; curiously, two of these victories took place in front of Arsenal, which in something will sweeten the difficult time for Raul Jimenez, whose return date is not yet.
