A sea of brown foam formed by heavy rains that hit Australia’s east coast swallowed a dog until its owner miraculously found it on Monday.
About two hours south of Brisbane, the owner of a puppy wandering through the rubbish on Gold Coast’s Snapper Rocks in Byron Bay called seriously his dog, who was lost in the sea foam, according to Local Store 7 News.
“Hazel! Hazel ”the woman, wearing a white bathing suit, yelled as she searched through her chest-high brown bubbles, the video shows.
Soon, the puppy emerged, was safely scooped up in his mother’s arms and taken to safety, the clip shows.
The BBC reports that more than 600 miles of heavy rain and high tides hit the east coast of Australia on Monday.
All the beaches around Byron Bay, a popular tourist destination, have disappeared, local mayor Simon Richardson told the sales outlet.
More than 2,000 homes have lost electricity, and waves of up to 26 feet have been reported, according to the sales outlet.
Contaminants such as bizarre sea foam, salts, natural chemicals and dead plants captured in the clip combine with powerful waves to form when water is transformed into dense, brown bubbles, the North Star previously reported.
