Saber Interactive has established itself as one of Switch’s leading port specialists, with recent acquisitions further enhancing these credentials. A project that has been a bit mysterious since its discreet announcement in the spring of 2020 World War Z, an ambitious idea simply because of the large number of zombies it generates at any given time as you try to cut them. The cross-platform video above gives a good proof of what it is all about.
Saber Interactive has yet to update (at the time of writing), but eagle-eyed eShop fans have been contacted to highlight that it now has a listing in the European and Australian versions of the store. It is scheduled to launch on November 2 at a price of £ 35.99 in the UK store; its file size appears at 6.6 GB. At this time, there is no store page equivalent to the US eShop.
Of course, there is still time for the final optimization and we are intrigued to see how this is set up in Switch. As for whether it’s a game that’s worth getting excited about, our fellow Push Square teammates rather enjoyed the co-op and multiplayer aspects when it was originally released on PS4, though its campaign fell short.
We will make sure to have more official news about this release; is one for your wish list?
