Announced on Nintendo Direct last night, World’s End Club is an intriguing prospect for fans of Danganronpa and Zero Escape, and not just because the team behind it has worked on these games in the past.
While we don’t have much information about the upcoming game, we do know that it’s about a group of 12-year-olds called Go-Getters Club, who are trapped in a strange underwater theme park and are forced to play for their survival in a “game of fate” of a sadistic clown. Honestly, if that doesn’t sound like your excitement, what will it do?
There are two special physical editions of the game: the Deluxe edition, which includes a mini art book, soundtrack sampling, and a reversible cover; and the $ 80 (£ 57) limited edition, which features a full art book, full soundtrack, carousel-mounted Acrylic protagonist Reycho stand and an enamel pin from the club logo .
According to NIS America, the Deluxe edition will be available “to all major participating retailers,” but the limited edition is only available through its website. Pre-orders can now be placed, but will not be shipped until the game is released on May 28th.
