Ximena Duc is celebrating the birth of her daughter Skye Adkins Duc, whom she was looking forward to after long hours of labor in a Miami, Florida health center.

The Colombian actress was hospitalized in a Florida hospital since last Friday for the severe contractions she had presented in the last days of her pregnancy. However, the birth of her daughter took place in the last hours of this Saturday, February 6th.

In the middle of her third pregnancy, Duc experienced strong moments of anguish after having tested positive for Coronavirus. During her infection with the virus, the star had to be rushed to a health center to receive medical attention for pneumonia.

After successfully recovering from her infection with COVID-19, the 36-year-old performer thanked her because at no time did she have any complications related to her pregnancy.

The birth of Skye Adkins Duc represents Ximena Duc’s second daughter in common with businessman Jay Adkins, with whom she has had a consolidated marriage since 2017.

In May 2004, Duc became a mother for the first time with the birth of her firstborn Cristian Carabias Duc, the result of her failed love affair with television presenter Christian Carabias.
