Yankees report injuries to Zack Britton and Miguel Andújar

New York Yankees gave an update on the physical condition of two of his players this Monday, August 23rd. The team reported that Miguel Andújar has been withdrawn from his rehabilitation assignment and placed on the injured list for 60 days; and that Zack Britton has had to be sent to the injured list. Those in the Bronx have suffered throughout the 2021 MLB Season from various injuries among their elements.

The nightmare continues for Zack Britton as the New York Yankees sent him to the injured list for 10 days with a left shoulder injury, further hampering his performance in MLB 2021.

The pitcher has a sprained elbow, bad news that adds to his low level on the mound, as in the last three innings he has thrown he has allowed three clean runs and 4 hits.

On the other hand, Yankees announced that Miguel Andújar has been withdrawn from his rehabilitation assignment and that the injury he presents has been prolonged as he was transferred to injured list for 60 days.

The Dominican has battled for multiple weeks with a hand injury that would have jeopardized his return for the remainder of MLB’s 2021 season, with another loss on the New York Yankees roster.

I joined ‘A l’Bat’ in September 2020, starting a new stage of work to which I always seek to give my best version, as well as leaving a significant mark on the passage of women in an industry that is managed mainly by men. Lic. In Communication Sciences and Techniques from the Inter-American University for Development (UNIU), I specialize in sports journalism, copywriting and text editing, I have three years of experience covering sports, especially Mexican Baseball League (LMB) baseball , Mexican Pacific League (LMP) and MLB. I was passing through the LMB Yucatan Lions Baseball Club, with whom I attended the 2019 King’s Series. I’ve done work for social media as coverage of the 2019-2020 edition of the LMP Final for ‘ With Les Bases Llenas’. I find myself constantly updated on social media, SEO, Google positioning, copywriting, digital journalism, as well as the place of women in the sports industry. A native of Mérida, Yucatán, my first approach to baseball was in a Yucatan Lions game, in the ‘Kukulcán Álamo’ Park, in 2015; and that changed my life completely. The ‘hairy’ are the team of my loves and the greatest passion I have in this sport. While I play baseball most of the time, my sport, in the beginning, was (and still is) football. Real Madrid and Bayern Munich won my heart and fans from the ‘minute one’ and I am fortunate to have already seen them play live. Clearly, I’m a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo and Manuel Neuer.
