Tijuana, BC.- Actor José María Yazpik shared that in his teens he was close to narcotics in Tijuana, this brought him to light as part of his participation in the second season of ” Narcos: Mexico “which will premiere on A&E on February 15th.

“I was fortunately indirectly linked to the world of drug trafficking because in Tijuana in the eighties it was a society, like, very closed and drug traffickers were part of that society,” Yazpik commented.

In an interview via Zoom, who gives life to Dear Carrillo Fuentes “The Lord of the Skies”, he argued that he came to know Ramón Arellano Félix, as from time to time he appeared at parties he attended.

“I was touched by several close friends with certain members of the Arellano family, I even went to school with a couple of junior narcotics and went to parties that Ramon Arellano suddenly came to,” he said.

He stressed that, from these experiences, remembering this time, he was able to have this sensory back and help to better understand his character and understand him as a human being without glorifying him.

“This series is different from others that have touched on this issue, because they are not glorified, all or most end up in prison or dead, all end up receiving the punishment they deserve or not, and from that it is no longer given this glorification, ”he pointed out.
