In 2006, Core Design, the original studio behind the Tomb Raider , was working on a remake of the 10th anniversary of the first game for PSP. Although they advanced a lot, the game ended up being canceled. Now, this original PSP game has resurfaced and can be played, PC player reports.

Unlike the Crystal Dynamics remake, this PSP version of Core is closer to the classic and original game, which includes a clumsy jump and move. Interestingly, Tomb of Ash claims that Core was in the process of investing redo in a file Indiana Jones game.
