The young man who narrates in Spanish the audiobook “A Promised Land”, from the memoirs of the former president of the United States, Barack Obama, is 27 years old.
Víctor Sabi had previously dubbed the autobiography of former African President and Nobel Peace Prize winner Nelson Mandela into Spanish, as he explained in an interview with Jessica Hasbún on CNN. For this work he was nominated for best voice in Spanish.
Discipline, discretion, are two qualities that stand out from this Dominican talent just by listening to him, as in the interview he says that the dubbing of the Obama act book was not even known to his relatives.
In 2019 he participated in an international casting to dub Mandela’s autobiography, “The Long Road to Freedom” for which he had to learn some African dialects and later had to narrate the audiobook of Democrat Barack Obama
