A lion was launched on Sunday against a zoo keeper in Germany and managed to escape the terrifying attack with no major injuries, authorities reported.
The unidentified 25-year-old woman, who works at Berlin’s Osnabrück Zoo, was cleaning the big cat’s cage around noon when he lunged at her, according to police.
She was hospitalized but was not considered a serious injury, police said.
No other details about the savage attack were immediately obtained on Sunday.
The zoo, which is closed to the public due to coronavirus blocking measures, could not be reached for comment.
