3 people killed and 4 injured in a Wilmington shooting, according to police

News of the shooting was received around midnight on Saturday and police learned there had been a party in the house before the shooting, according to Lt. Irving, surveillance commander of the Wilmington police department.

Officers who responded found seven victims at the scene, three of whom died, police said. Investigators are still working on the crime scene near 7th Street and Kidder Street and are trying to identify suspects.

At this time no one has been arrested or for any reason, said Irving, who added that the general public is in no danger.

The condition of the injured victims is currently unknown. The names of the killers will be released once their families and relatives have been notified, police said.
