One of the things I like most about virtual reality is that it’s fun to watch other people play. While it’s not necessarily difficult to stream the Oculus game from headphones to the TV, it may not be feasible; it is done by casting, so you need a TV or receiver compatible with this technology. If not, you are out of luck.
PSVR, on the other hand, has the built-in advantage of being a PlayStation console in the first place. Viouslybviament is designed to connect you to the TV, making it easy to see exactly what your friend is doing in the virtual space. Half of the fun I’ve had with PSVR is watching my friends move around the room with big, crazy headphones, and then I turn my attention to the TV to see exactly what they’re watching.
