YouTube suspends President Donald Trump’s channel

A recent video on Trump’s channel had incited violence, YouTube told CNN Business. This video has been removed.

YouTube declined to share details of the video that was worth the Trump strike, but said that after a week’s waiting time, it will reconsider the decision.

Analysis: Will the insufficiency make Trump and the far right disappear, move, or become even more radical?
So far, YouTube had been the only major social media platform that hadn’t suspended Trump in some way. Facebook has suspended Trump’s account “indefinitely,” while Twitter has completely banned Trump.
“After a careful review and in light of concerns about the potential for ongoing violence, we removed the new content posted on the Donald J. Trump channel and went on strike to violate our policies to incite violence.” , a YouTube spokesman said in a statement. “As a result, according to our long-standing attack system, the channel is now prevented from uploading new videos or live plays for a minimum of seven days, which can be extended.”

YouTube also said it will take the extra step of disabling comments under Trump channel videos.

Under YouTube’s policies, gaining a second wake-up call will result in a two-week suspension and three layoffs will result in a permanent ban.
