The GOP congressman apologizes to Ocasio-Cortez after the Twitter exchange with Cruz

“I ask you to call her to apologize immediately and withdraw her comments.”

Roy concluded the letter by stating that if Ocasio-Cortez did not apologize for his words, other steps would be taken to condemn his statement.

“If Representative Ocasio-Cortez does not apologize immediately, we will be forced to find alternative means to condemn this unfortunate statement,” Roy wrote in a letter to Pelosi on Thursday.
