LOS ANGELES (AP) – Lady Gaga’s two French bulldogs, who were robbed by thieves who shot and injured the dogwalker, were recovered unharmed Friday, Los Angeles police said.
A woman took the dogs to the LAPD Olympic Community Police Station, northwest of downtown, around 6 p.m., said Captain Jonathan Tippett, commander of the elite division Robbers-Homicides.
Lady Gaga’s rep and detectives went to the station and confirmed it was the dogs.
The singer is currently in Rome to film a film.
The woman who left the dogs appears not to be “involved and unassociated” in the Wednesday night attack, Tippett said.
It was not immediately known how he got the dogs.
Dog walker Ryan Fischer was once shot while walking three of the singer’s dogs in Hollywood. The video showed a white sedan pulling up and two men jumping. They fought with the dog walker before one fired a gun and fired a single shot before fleeing with two of the dogs.
In the video you can hear the dog walker saying he had been shot in the chest. Tippett said he is expected to survive his injuries.
Lady Gaga on Friday repeated her offer of a $ 500,000 reward for returning her dogs (named Koji and Gustav) without asking him any questions.
“I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You are forever a hero,” he said in an Instagram post.
