© NintendoNPD sales tracking data has been disclosed Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury has experienced a strong start in the United States in terms of sales. In the February release month, the game was ranked as the best-selling game and the second best-selling game of 2021. In particular, this does not include its digital sales.
Here is in the words of NPD analyst Mat Piscatella. The best-selling game of the year so far comes last Call of Duty.
“Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury releases February’s best-selling game. The title also ranks second best-selling in 2021, despite a lack of digital sales tracking for titles released by Nintendo.”
Please note that no sales figures have been provided. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe i Animal Crossing: New Horizons they were also ranked among the top ten sellers in February 2021.
It seems that Super Mario 3D World had the same success in other regions. In Japan, the game was released at the top of the charts and is estimated to have sold 250,000 physical copies in the early days. In the UK, sales were reported to be 190% higher than the original Wii U and the game was labeled as the fastest selling release of 2021.
