Satellite images give another perspective on the developing situation in Egypt’s Suez Canal, where a mega cargo container ship turned sideways and got stuck, blocking the transit corridor.

Images captured on Tuesday by a Planet Labs Dove satellite showed the ship the stranded ship, called Ever Ever.

What has been given is about 1,300 feet long (or nearly a quarter of a mile) and 193 feet wide. The ship weighs about 220,000 tons and is capable of carrying up to 20,000 containers.

Suez Port Agent GAC told Reuters that since Wednesday morning, Ever Give had been partially re-floated and had moved against the edge of the canal.

“The ship is still stranded from now on, but efforts to re-float it continue in close cooperation with the Suez Canal Authority,” a spokesman for Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement told CNBC around 11:45 p.m. ET. The company is the technical manager of Ever given.

Taiwan-based operator Evergreen Marine Corp. said in a statement that Ever Green ran aground after being hit by strong winds as it entered the Suez Canal from the Red Sea. The operator noted that none of its containers had sunk.
