Prison Office spokesman Emery Nelson confirmed to CNN that Giannulli was released from Lompoc prison on Friday, but did not say whether he is halfway home or at home.

Giannulli had asked a judge to grant him confinement at home on compassionate grounds earlier this year because the coronavirus pandemic forced him to spend 56 days in quarantine in solitary confinement. Judge Nathaniel Gorton denied this request on January 26.
Loughlin was released in December after serving a two-month sentence for his role in college admissions scam. Loughlin must also serve two years of supervised release, perform 100 hours of community service and pay a $ 150,000 fine.
