Mariah Carey reacts to her vaccine as if you thought she could

Mariah Carey plays the high notes again, but not on stage.

The five-time Grammy winner filmed herself getting a vaccine against COVD-19 over the weekend and screamed when the needle came in (watch the video below).

“Vaccine side effect: G6,” he joked on Instagram in reference to the vocal range designation.

Carey previously revealed that she was nervous and admitted that she was distracting the medical professionals who administered the shot to her.

He let out a Yiddish “oy” before the needle pierced his skin. Then he shouted and applauded with relief afterwards.

“Do it when you can,” he said. “In this we are all together.”

The “Fantasy” performer said earlier this year that blocking the pandemic could have benefited her career in some way.

“Getting a job has helped my voice a lot,” he said in a podcast in January. “I think that, in many ways, I can only be stress-free, for example. And everyone says, ‘Oh, you have to go back to a studio. Just like you have to sing again. And I’m like “I know”. ”

More than 61 million Americans have been completely vaccinated, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Carey has one shot left.
