The Conners has a very busy third season. The comedy ABC, a derivation of Roseanne after canceling the revival in 2018, it focuses on the struggles of the working class of the Conner family. Most of the actors in the original resume their roles, including John Goodman as patriarch Dan, Sara Gilbert and Lecy Goranson as their daughters Darlene and Becky, respectively, and Laurie Metcalf as their sister-in-law Jackie. Now in the third season, The Conners has been facing the ongoing pandemic while providing important stories, including Becky breaking her sobriety and the death of Darlene’s former enemy. The sitcom maintains its light humor with its latest addition to the cast: Brian Austin Green.
As revealed in this exclusive clip below, Green joins the show as Jeff, Darlene’s new employee on the factory line that oversees Wellman Plastics. Late in his first day at work, thanks to a poor combination of absinthe and beer from the night before, apparently a mix to celebrate a surfer friend who moved away from Illinois. True to form, Darlene simply replies, “You have a surf partner in Lanford? You have Google Maps, right?”
Green, who is the best known for playing David Silver a Beverly Hills, 90210, has also appeared in episodes of Smallville, desperate housewives, i Terminator: The Chronicles of Sarah Connor. He will do his The Conners debut in episode 17, entitled “Lamentations, Rehabilitations and Real Estate Agents”, of which another appearance will also be seen Barb by Candice Bergen.
“Lamentations, rehabilitations and real estate agents” is broadcast Wednesday, April 14 at 9pm ET on ABC.
