The girl of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas is already big.
Zeta-Jones, 51, wished her daughter, Carys Zeta Douglas, a happy 18th birthday on Tuesday with a tribute on social media that showed the teen as a baby along with an outbreak of she current in swimsuit.
“You’re everything, and it’s all you,” the proud mother said at the slide show. “Thank you for the joy you bring me.”
The “Chicago” star then shared that her daughter had texted her in the early hours of her own birthday to thank her for giving birth to her.
“That’s the kind of woman you are,” Zeta-Jones added. “Kind. Your wisdom is beyond your age. [Your] the beauty is deep and your heart is big enough to love and wrap the world, your sense of humor … very important … it’s insurmountable ”.
Then the actress ended the post with a little joke, joking, “Your Japanese need some work, but that’s doable,” and she concluded, “I love you angel. Mom.”
Carys thanked the post and commented, “I love you, Mom! Thank you for everything you do.”
Meanwhile, 76-year-old Douglas did not miss the opportunity to shout at his daughter on the special day.
He captioned a photo of the all-girl couple, saying, “Dear, this is your father, wishing you the best 18th birthday any young lady can have. You know how much I love you, how proud I am of you and the joy that I’m watching you become the young woman you’re turning out to be! Happy birthday Carys! I love you! Dad. “
Carys replied, “Thank you, Dad !! I love you and thank you for everything you do. You are my greatest inspiration!”
Zeta-Jone and Douglas have been married since 2000. They share two children: Carys and Dylan Michael Douglas, 20.
Douglas’ son, from his first marriage to film producer Diandra Luker, Cameron Douglas, also wished his half-sister a happy birthday on Tuesday.
“Happy birthday to a remarkable young woman, sister, aunt, intellectual and a lovely human being from around the world,” she captioned a photo of Carys with her own son on Instagram. “I couldn’t be more proud of the person you are and the trajectory your star travels.”
