Meghan McCain may have left “The View” in July, but the show is in no hurry to find a permanent replacement.
Instead, the ABC talk show will have a turntable of temporary conservative guest hosts when it returns to the air for its 25th season.
Former Utah MP Mia Love will join stars Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines when the show resumes Sept. 7.
The episode will mark the first time hosts will be in the studio since the pandemic began in March 2020.
Other figures who will participate in the show are Condoleezza Rice, Gretchen Carlson, Eboni K. Williams, Mary Katharine Ham, Carly Fiorina, Alyssa Farah, Cameran Eubanks and SE Cupp.
Executive producer Brian Teta shed light on the 25 seasons of the series: “Twenty-five years is such an amazing milestone,” he told Wrap. “We have a lot planned to honor this amazing platform that Barbara Walters created. I can’t think of a better way to start this celebration than by welcoming the co-hosts to the iconic ‘View’ table and having them again in front of a live studio audience ”.

McCain’s last episode aired on August 6 after appearing on the show for four seasons. The 36-year-old announced on July 1 that she planned to leave her concert because she wanted to move her family to Washington DC.
