In the past, Jabra has made some of our favorites wireless headphones that cancel out noise in the market, but the competition is getting fierce, with rivals offering it now more premium features or lower prices. So Jabra is expanding its range with three new Elite options, and it looks like there is one for everyone. Let’s dive.
The $ 199 Elite 7 Pro is for those who prioritize battery life above all else. Jabra says the 7 Pro can last nine hours with fully adjustable active noise cancellation activated and a total of 35 hours in the charging box. That is, frankly, bananas. In comparison, Apple’s AirPods Pro last half the time they are carried. A five-minute charge gives you 1.2 hours of battery life, which is useful when you forget to fully connect them before a workout.
Jabra also says the 7 Pro is 16% smaller than the Elite 75t, which is probably the most comfortable headset I’ve ever used. The Elite 75t (and Elite 65t) will go extinct this year, leaving the more expensive Elite 85t on the list, but the 85t doesn’t fit as well as the 75t, so I’m curious to try the 7 Pro to compare- lo.
Jabra also uses a combination of sensors to improve call quality. Each headset has two microphones and a voice capture sensor; when the microphones pick up ambient noise such as wind, Jabra’s algorithms are initiated to activate the VPU. The headphones also have a bone conduction sensor, which Jabra says “transmits voice through jaw vibrations.” I have to admit I’m intrigued. The 7 Pro also has Alexa-integrated integration and supports Google Assistant on Android and Siri for iPhone.

Jabra gradually eliminates his Elite 75t and 65-ton lines mean the company has an ear-sized hole focused on fitness to fill. Enter: The $ 179 Elite 7 Active. The Active model doesn’t have the 7 Pro’s multisensor calling features, but it has a special coating that Jabra calls “ShakeGrip”. Hopefully this means that the 7 Active won’t fall off your ears when you exercise; the company usually goes home when it comes to sports headphones, so I would expect the same to happen with these.
Then there is what could be a sleeping hit, the $ 79 Elite 3. The cheapest headphones offer 6mm speakers, four microphones and seven hours of battery life (28 in total if stored in the cargo box). They lack active noise cancellation, which would have made them a more important option now that we’re starting to see $ 99 ANC headphones on the market, but they offer noise isolation with Jabra’s standard ambient mode, called HearThrough. They also feature new and elegant shades, such as lilac and navy blue. If they are as comfortable to wear as the other Jabra models, it is possible that the Elite 3 Budget Bluetooth Headphones to Buy.
The names make little sense, why is it called Elite 7 Pro, the successor to the Elite 85t, but regardless, the prices and features of the new lineup are interesting and Jabra has a solid track record in terms of fit of headphones and audio quality.
The Elite 3 goes on sale on September 1, while the Elite 7 Pro and 7 Active will be available for purchase on October 1.
