Apple sent out invitations to the media for its annual launch event on September 14, where the company is expected to announce new iPhones.
The company may also announce new models of Apple Watch and AirPods. Apple launches Apple Watches annually and AirPods should be reviewed since the last update was released in 2019.
The Apple launch will be played live on Apple’s website. Apple has been holding virtual launch events since the start of the 2020 pandemic.
Apple usually announces its new iPhones in September. But last year, due to the pandemic, Apple announced the iPhone 12 in October. Its September event was used to unveil the Apple Watch Series 6, the Apple Watch SE, the new iPads, a streaming exercise class subscription service, and a host of other Apple services called Apple One.
Apple may do something similar this year. The company is expected to update the MacBook Pro and iPad models this fall, at least if it adheres to its annual schedule. But it is unclear whether they will be introduced at the same event as the iPhone.
This year’s iPhones will likely look like last year’s models, but with a “more” cut at the top of the screen, Bloomberg reported. The Apple Watch is expected to get its first major new design since it launched in 2015.
